Smart Fortune Cookie™

Lemon Lavender

$70Only 1 left

A little ray of sunshine in fortune cookie form.

Inspired by sunny citrus groves and fragrant lavender fields, and finished with a miniature lemon slice, delicate purple shavings and leafy details. This cookie is fresh, cheerful and beautifully calming.

Handcrafted from polymer clay, simply rest your phone against the fortune cookie and wait for your fortune to magically appear on your screen. Each cookie looks uncannily real and carries a light scent.

All fortunes are unique to each individual and refresh daily.

Choose the cookie on its own to sit pretty on your desk for daily inspiration, a magnet for the fridge, or a keychain to carry a little magic (and fortune) everywhere you go.

What your $70 pays for

Each cookie takes a week and a half from first pinch to posting. It’s conditioned by hand, then baked and detailed until it looks uncannily real. A protective glaze seals it, a light scent finishes it off, and every flavour gets its own extra touches. You’re paying for something made slowly and consciously by a real person, not a machine.

Worth knowing

Every phone gets its own fortune, refreshed once a day, so two people tapping the same cookie will receive different fortunes.

Works with all modern smartphones. Check your device's support and our how-to guide for more information.

Tap.

Touch the back of your phone to your cookie or pebble.

Discover.

A little message appears, as if by magic, and requires no app or battery.

Smile.

Written by us: a fresh fortune each day, or calm whenever you need it.

Questions we get asked

What makes the cookie and pebble “smart”?

Each one hides a little technology inside that talks to your phone. Rest your phone against it, no charging needed, and a message appears: a new fortune from the cookie each day, or a fresh calming mantra from the pebble every time you tap.

Do I need to download an app to use it?

Nope! No app, no batteries, no set-up. Just tap your phone on it and today’s message will pop up in your browser. That’s it!

How often do the messages change?

Fortune cookies: a brand new fortune every day. All fortunes are unique to each individual, so you and your friend won’t be reading the same ones.

Calming pebbles: a fresh affirmation every time you tap, whenever you need a little moment of calm.

Is it durable? Can I carry it with me?

Yes, each piece is handmade from clay and cured for strength, so it’s water-resistant and made for everyday life. The cookies also come as a keychain for on the go or a magnet for home or the office.

What’s included in my order?

Each one arrives in lovingly handmade gift packaging with a how-to guide inside. The cookie’s box even opens like a real fortune cookie.

Will it work with my phone?

It almost certainly will: if your phone can tap to pay, it can read your cookie or pebble too. iPhone XS and later read it automatically, and most Android phones do with NFC on. Learn more about how it works.

My phone won’t scan it. What should I do?

Don’t worry, it’s usually just about finding the right spot.

Yours came with a how-to guide, but if you’ve lost it, see how it works.

iPhone and Android phones read it slightly differently, so check your phone’s settings if needed. A thick phone case can also get in the way, so try without it.
